From MOFAS to Proof Alliance
In 1998, the Minnesota Organization on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (MOFAS) was founded with a mission to prevent prenatal alcohol exposure and support individuals impacted by fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD).
For two decades, MOFAS made a lasting impact, serving thousands of individuals and families across Minnesota. In 2018, MOFAS became Proof Alliance, highlighting our focus on facts and evidence-informed practices and our commitment to partnering with the community to expand our reach and create a greater impact.
Growing from a Solid Beginning
Today, Proof Alliance builds on that strong foundation by delivering evidence-informed practices and programs that now extend beyond Minnesota to serve the entire nation. To amplify our message and drive meaningful change, we are utilizing the latest tools and technology. We are digging deeper into the intersectionality of FASD and prenatal alcohol exposure while strategically advocating for broader systems-level change.
Together, through collaboration and partnerships, we continue to raise awareness, advocate for change, and deliver critical resources to create a better future for all those affected by FASD across the country.
